I started doing photography 5 years ago. I became involved with photography to ensure everyone had access to senior photos. My children were in high school and I had my first real experience with how expensive professional photos were and I thought how upsetting it must be for the children and parents that couldn't afford to have that professional milestone experience because of budget. I took it upon myself to read literature, take classes and self instruct to learn manual use of with my camera. Once I mastered the use of my camera I then started taking free photos of seniors so they had pictures to share. My passion bloomed from there. Boudoir photography intrigued me - I am a nurse and I love helping people and what better way to combine my two passions into one. Boudoir photography allows a woman to see her true beauty, drop the barriers and show her partner (or only herself in some cases as self love is most important) just how beautiful she is.

My oldest daughter is my hair and make-up artist and she began this journey with me learning make-up application, hair care and lash application. She loves to see the excitement in the clients eyes when they see themselves after hair and make-up. This is an experience like no other.

I myself have participated in a boudoir session so I knew how it felt to be the client. I was nervous, excited, apprehensive and unsure just like everyone else. Known what happens in the session behind the camera doesn't change how you feel when you are vulnerable. I am so happy I took the step and experienced this myself as I don't think I would be know how difficult it is to drop the fear, nerves and insecurities to take the step and book a session. TRUST ME IT IS WORTH IT. Don't let you body insecurities hold you back. We all shine - we all are beautiful - and we all deserve self love.
